Methodology
Aether is a live observatory, not a price page. Every number has a source, a formula, and a refresh interval. ETH has no hard cap, so fully diluted value equals market cap: Coinbase last × ultrasound.money supply. CoinPaprika currently returns 0 for 30-day and 1-year change; those cards use Kraken daily closes instead of a fake flat market.
Canonical prints
- Last — Coinbase ETH-USD last trade. Header, price card, and chart print are the same number.
- Mid — (bid + ask) / 2 on Coinbase. Labeled separately; a few cents off last is expected.
- VWAP — Kraken 24h volume-weighted average. Not a last trade.

Canonical ETH print for Aether. The header, the price card, and the chart’s latest value all use this Coinbase last trade so they cannot drift. Kraken 24h VWAP and Coinbase mid (bid+ask)/2 are listed separately — a few cents of difference is expected.
